Erika Huemiller
OLTD Director & Owner

First and foremost, I love the Lord our God and thank Him for providing what we have. I give him the glory for what we can accomplish.
I am married to Jayce Huemiller who shares my passion for working with children through coaching sports!
We recently moved from Washington state with our three girls and we love the Black Hills! I was born in Tokyo, Japan but grew up most of my life in Washington state.
I received my bachelors in Society, Ethics, and Human Behavior with a minor in Education and Society from the University of Washington, and then completed the K-8 post Baccalaureate teaching program there as well. I also hold a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governor's University. I have been a classroom teacher for 6 years, but have many years of working alongside mentors, teachers, and students in a variety of educational and childcare settings. I have taught grades K-3, but spent most of my teaching years in a kindergarten classroom! While I love all children, my happy place is truly with the early childhood age group!
My love for children, and my passion for teaching and learning are what have brought me to this profession. I believe that all children can achieve success, and that this success begins at a very young age. I am very passionate about educating and encouraging our next generations to reach their full potential by giving them the tools to be dedicated to achieving their goals, hardworking to ensure their success, and passionate about becoming whatever they want to be!
I feel honored to be given this opportunity to work alongside you to build meaningful relationships and meet the individual needs of your children!

Jennifer Brown
OLTD Remote Operations Manager
Hi! I’m Miss Jenn, the Remote Operations Manager and former Assistant Director of Our Little Treasures. I have been in the field of childcare for nearly 30 years and have proudly been part of the Our Little Treasures family since the very beginning—first as an in-home daycare for six years, and now as a licensed center for the past eight years.
Although my family of five moved to Tennessee in 2023, Our Little Treasures continues to hold a very special place in my heart. I now support the center remotely, managing the non-physical operations and communicating with families and staff through messages and virtual connections.
I am married to Travis, and together we have three children—two boys and one girl. I graduated from Sidney High School in Montana and attended Yellowstone Baptist College in Billings, MT. My family moved to Rapid City in 2009, when I first began working with Our Little Treasures. In 2011, I briefly stepped away to teach at another preschool for three years, but returned “home” to Our Little Treasures and have joyfully continued serving here ever since.
I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and am certified in CPR and First Aid. Over the years, I have worked with children of many ages and abilities. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a special education teacher, and that passion has never left. I love researching and learning about diverse needs and finding ways to support every child as a unique individual.
Today, one of my greatest joys is equipping teachers—sharing the tools, strategies, and wisdom I have gathered across three decades in the field—so that together we can help every child thrive to their fullest potential.

As a mother of two, I understand the importance of guiding children with patience, kindness, and strong moral values rooted in faith. I enjoy spending time outdoors and making meaningful memories with my family. I strive to create a safe, nurturing space where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically.

Rebekah F.
Administrative Assistant
I'm Rebekah and my role is all things admin related. I work behind the scenes to support our teachers, directors and students. You will occasionally find me subbing in a classroom when I'm needed more there. My goal is to be a nurturing and calming presence, where each child feels loved just as much I love my own child.
I recently moved from Minnesota to the Black Hills with my husband and daughter. We love the outdoors and being active. During the summer you'll find me up at 5 AM getting in a sunrise hike or fishing with my hubby. In the winter, I'm probably sipping my favorite tea and working on another 1000 piece puzzle.

Kitchen / Substitute teacher
My name is Savannah Reynolds, and I have worked at Our Little Treasures Daycare for the past three years. One of my main responsibilities is preparing and serving lunch for the children, ensuring meals are safe, nutritious, and suited to their age and dietary needs. In addition to meal preparation, I float throughout the center to provide extra support where needed. I truly care for all of the children, but I especially enjoy working with the preschoolers. I love listening to their imaginative stories and watching them grow and develop as individuals. While I do not have children of my own, I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages. I grew up with five siblings and am an aunt to six nieces and nephews. I love working with children and look forward to seeing their smiling faces every day.

Since middle school I knew I wanted to work with children, but didn't pursue my passion until I had a child of my own in July.
